The Local Sessions: Your New Tuesday Has Arrived
Local Sessions possibly best open jam … ever.

Tuesday nights may not have the reputation of being overly wild or exciting. But we live in Denver - a city with a music scene that, in my humble opinion, is second to none. And since November 1st of this year, Tuesday nights have been undergoing a transformation known as The Local Sessions.
Held at Local 46 in Denver's Berkeley neighborhood, The Local Sessions offer a chance for musicians, vocalists, poets and visual artists alike to share their craft with the community. Artists of all skill levels are welcome to jam - but man oh man, we've witnessed some truly incredible talent on stage thus far.
Hosted by Tiger Party's Blake Mobley, the open-jam format has brought the likes of noted Colorado musicians Will Trask (Jaden Carlson Band, The Magic Beans), George Horn (Ableminds, Kinetix), Sam Bee (Trevor Jones Band), Brian Saulig (Art Smart Anatomy), Michael Weeze Dawald (Rowdy Shadehouse, We's Us), Mark Levy (Circles Around The Sun, The Congress), Tori Pater (Polytoxic, Dyrty Byrds), Seth Fankhouser (The Malah), and of course, yours truly, Eric Frank (Art Smart Anatomy, Trevor Jones Band). And believe me, that's barely half of the talent that's taken the stage in the three short weeks of The Local Sessions' existence. Even C.R. Gruver (The New Orleans Suspects) has graced the stage, offering a real treat to those in attendance Attending and/or performing is FREE, by the way!
To top it all off, the entire evening of music is live-streamed by I Was There Productions, so even if you can't make it out (though you really oughta try!), you can couch-tour the entire performance. The crew behind IWTP is incredibly talented and utterly devoted to Colorado's unparalleled music community.
I promise, Tuesday nights don't get better than this. Break up the monotony of your work week and come enjoy the talent this amazing city has to offer. And don't be shy to join us on stage!
