Bluegrass Legends Vince Herman & Sam Grisman Announce Northeast Tour

Leftover Salmon frontman Vince Herman and bluegrass icon Sam Grisman are hitting the road for a special duo tour this January.
Their brief but spectacular "Winter 2025 Northeast Fun Run" kicks off on January 22nd at Sony Hall in NYC and makes stops in Troy, NY, Boston, and Waldoboro, ME before wrapping up on January 25th.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been encountering the great Vince Herman out in the wild with Leftover Salmon,” says Grisman. He adds, “I grew up going to festivals with my pop David Grisman and we would always have a great time playing music and spending time with Vinny anytime we crossed paths. He’s always been someone who I’ve looked up to as a positive force in our music scene and like me, he’s always game for some good tunes. Vince and I are looking forward to pairing up and picking and puffing our way through some of our favorite songs for all of you fine northeasterners for these special intimate DUO shows.”
Fans can expect an intimate evening of picking and grinning as these two musical forces trade licks and share their favorite tunes—perhaps even a story or two. The duo's collaboration echoes the legendary partnership between Sam's father, David Grisman, and Jerry Garcia, forging a new chapter in bluegrass and Americana music.
