Denverites Mama Magnolia, fast becoming a favorite among musicians and fans alike, recently released to the world a new video for their single, Something About Fire from their EP of the same name.
The video is as quirky and animated as the band itself, flowing easily into the ears as it finds its groove in a tempered bobbing of the head, finally settling almost tragically into the soul. These cats are living proof of the current talent in Colorado and are no doubt trending upward and abroad.
The band consists of members Thomas Jennings (guitar), Zachary Jackson (bass, vocals), Jackson Hillmer (drums, vocals), Megan Letts (keyboards, lead vocals), Carrie McCune (trumpet, vocals) and Sean Culliton (saxophone).
Catch Mama Magnolia LIVE on Friday, January 27th at The Fox Theatre with The Other Black and The Burroughs.
